Save the date for a special three-part Engaged Scholar workshop series designed to provide community-engaged scholars with practical strategies for making their best case in the promotion and tenure process. Open to all University of Minnesota faculty, the workshops are sponsored by the Vice Provost for Faculty and Academic Affairs and the Office for Public Engagement.
The series kicks off on Thursday, February 3 with Community-Engaged Scholarship in Promotion and Tenure: Context and Overview. The session is followed by Documenting Engaged Scholarship: Enhancing your dossier for promotion and tenure Part 1 (Thursday, February 10) and Documenting Engaged Scholarship: Enhancing your dossier for promotion and tenure Part 2 (Thursday, February 17).
All sessions will take place from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. via Zoom.

Social and Racial Justice Scholars Breakfast
Please join us for a morning of community building and networking with other faculty who engage in scholarship related to social justice, racial justice, diversity, equity and inclusion. We are hosting this breakfast as an opportunity for you to meet scholars with shared interests. This is the first of multiple events IDEA will host to foster collaborative scholarship that advances equity, inclusion and social and racial justice.
